Ryder Cup Betting
After 2 years of waiting, Europe have the Ryder Cup back on home soil as they gear up at Celtic Manor trying to win back the Ryder Cup. The team has never looked in better shape and indeed Captain Monty could have fielded 2 more than capable teams in this year's Ryder cup. I see a pretty comfortable victory for Europe in this year's Ryder cup at Celtic manor in Wales and Paddypower in a PR stunt, have already paid out on a European victory!
I've looked around all the significant markets for a bit of value and here are a few decent bets for the Ryder cup this year:
Top Points Scorer: Graeme McDowell E/W @ 16/1 and Martin Kaymer E/W @ 12/1 (Places 1/4) McDowell has won already at Celtic Manor this year, shooting 2 very low rounds at the weekend and likely to play with Rory McIlroy in the doubles. Kaymer is a serious player now, confidence high and rumoured to be playing with Westwood.

Top American Rookie: Matt Kuchar win @ 3/1 (Skybet) Only a 5 runner market and 3 of those 5 you wouldn't expect to play 4 doubles matches so it looks like it may be a 2 horse race between Kuchar and Dustin Johnson. Kuchar has arguably been the best player on Tour this year. You can get almost evens if you fancy dutching those 2.
Any Player to score 5 points @ 4/1 (general) Plenty of really strong looking doubles teams this year with and easy to see a 1 or more players collecting maximum points from the doubles and use the confidence for Sunday's singles.
