Share HOLLAND V BRAZIL Betting Tips (World Cup July 2): Brazil have done well for me lately in terms of goal betting but I'm going to go against the trend as I fancy Brazil v Holland to be a bit of a cat and mouse affair in the early stages...
Both sides have adopted a counter attacking approach with solid foundations and given maybe 4 attacking players the freedom to express themselves and I can see both teams being a bit cagey in the early stages, placing the emphasis on defence and looking to the likes of Sneijder, Robben and Kaka to produce some magic to get their side ahead.
I'd make the Brazilians favourites to progress but it's Holland who are the good betting tips in terms of value at over 2/1 on the exchanges to qualify for the semi finals. One matchup that intrigues me is Robben vs Bastos. Bastos isn't really a natural defender and if the Dutch are to go through, Robben may be the avenue they go down and Bastos may have his work cut out to keep him quiet and stay out of the referee's notebook.
