Fine Day At The Beach
The AT&T at Pebble Beach produced some finish in the end with 25/1 Pick Dustin Johnson, 1 of the 2 main tips for glory on Nic's Picks, finally getting over the line after a poor final round. As mentioned, 1 of the 2 main golf picks, who along with 'sleeper' value bet Paul Goydos (Tipped as a possible outsider and for a top 20 @ 5/1) held the third round lead(both at -18, 4 shots ahead) came back to the pack, as did the aforementioned Goydos after a disastrous 9 on the par 5 treacherous 14th hole.
Going down the 18th, Johnson found himself tied for the lead at -15 with David Duval(in the clubhouse) and J.B Holmes who was ahead on the 18th. Holmes failed to make birdie and Johnson made a great up and down to birdie and retain his Pebble beach title.
Goydos finished a few shots back and another of this weeks golf betting picks, Steve Marino(tipped for top 10 @ 11/2), slotted himself into the top 5 to boost this week's golf profits even further. Just as well as it was a bad week in the soccer betting.
Stay tuned for Champions League / Europa league betting where hopefully we can turn the soccer betting around this week and of course the WGC Accenture Matchplay and the Mayakoba classic golf value betting....
