Deutsche Bank Championship Picks
After another near miss last week with Steve Stricker, where Stricker looked almost certain to score Nic's picks followers a 25/1 winner, it's onwards to Playoffs round 2 in the form of the Deutsche Bank Championships which once again will be held at the TPC Boston.

The bigger hitters as mentioned will especially be looking forward to this par 71, 7207 yards long track originally designed by the great arnold Palmer. Why? It's generous fairways and usually not too penal rough, together with it's modest length make it appealing to those who like to attack courses. 16th in birdie average last year on the PGA Tour, the Deutsche Bank TPC Boston course is 1 where low numbers can be shot. Can't be too erratic off the tee though or they'll find themselves in the jungle or buried in one of the courses many deep bunkers.

As mentioned, there's no value in going for the top 5 or so favourites this week so that rules out the Likes of Harraington, Els, Stricker and Mickelson who are likely to feature.
-1pt E/W Dustin Johnson @ 50/1(paddypower)- Johnson is the longest hitter on tour together with Bubba watson and is fresh off the back of a -7 final round last week
Book:
-1pt E/W Nick Watney @ 50/1(coral)- Another big hitter who found some form last week, Watney can over power courses like this with his birdie making ability
Book:
-1pt E/W Retief Goosen @ 50/1(coral)
- Again a big hitter who can make birdies in abundance when the putter is on song. In some good form of late and well overpriced
Book:
-1pt E/W Jim Fuyrk @ 28/1 - Off the big hitter theme but he is longer than a lot think when he wants to be and if it wasn't for a 4 stroke penalty last week, he'd have been up there in the thick of it.
Book:
Sleeper watch
Seriously flying under the radar this week although I don't know why is Frederik Jacobsen (100/1 - paddypower). He was right up there last week without putting well(which is his best attribute) and this week if the putter is on he can challenge for the win. John mallinger (125/1 on coral and bet365) is one of the biggest young talents on the PGA Tour and when he gets in contention he can stay there, proven by his top 10 stats this year. Decent week last week and ready to make a roar.
-2.5pts Frederik Jacobsen Top 20 Finish @ 3/1
Book:
-2.5pts John mallinger Top 2o finish @ 11/2
