MORAVIA SILESIA OPEN PICKS
As mentioned, the European tour Celadna course itself was designed by Jimenez and that coupled with the fact that he is hitting form just now is the reason why he is firm favourite with the bookies, but again, there is no value in backing him I will look elsewhere for my Moravia silesia open golf picks.
The course plays 7155 yards long and is cocooned within the Beskydy Mountains, offering stunning views and featuring testing holes, including the island green on the 15th. It is a very hilly course that was designed with accuracy in mind as the fairways are narrow and treelined. It will be a firm test of golf.
The field is pretty modest this week and there is no course form to go on so I will stick with current form and those players that are quite accurate off the tee for my picks this week.
Moravia Silesia Open Golf Picks:
-0.5pts E/W Jamie Donaldson @ 33/1 (general) Playing very well of late, 2nd last week at the SAS masters and feels as if a win is just around the corner
-0.5pts E/W Peter Lawrie @ 40/1 (general) Irish man is astreaky play who is well capable of challenging the weakish field at the Moravia Silesia open
-0.5pts E/W Marcus fraser @ 40/1 (general) 54 hole leader last week and very consistent player having made 21 consecutive cuts on the European Tour
-0.5pts E/W Gareth Maybin @ 40/1 (general) been brought to my attention from some partners and after closer inspection looks a decent bet. Very accurate off the tee and over 70% GIR. 2 top 15's in last 4 outings.
-0.5pts E/W Marc Warren @ 150/1(general) A player that pops up every now and again without any recent form generally because he is a top putter when he's hot and I think those odds are just massive in a field like this.
-0.5pts E/W Marcus Brier @66/1(general) Playing not too far away from home and tends to perform on stages like this. Still can't forget about the fact that he demolished the field in the British open qualifying a few weeks back so the swing is definitely there and a big price
